Iran government declares Ahmadinejad won with 62 percent of votes

Iran's government on Sunday afternoon declared that incumbent Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is the winner of the election with a landslide 62.63 percent of the vote. Top opposition contender Mir Hossein Mousavi took only 33.75 percent of the votes in a result disputed by his supporters.
