Iran's Revolutionary Guards chief Mohammad Ali Jafari said on Wednesday that Tehran would maintain its military presence in the country.
This comes after Prime Minster Benjamin Netanyahu said earlier this week that Israel would continue striking Syria so long as Iranian forces remain in the country and warned them "to get out of there fast. We wont stop attacking."
Jafari responded to Netanyahu's threats, saying "the Islamic Republic of Iran will leave its military advisers and its weapons in Syria. "
