BAGHDAD - Iraq's airforce carried out 'deadly' airstrikes on Islamic State positions inside neighboring Syria on Thursday, Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi's office said. The airstrikes were launched 'from the Iraqi side of the border,' it said in a statement.
