Police on Tuesday afternoon arrested a member of the Supreme Islamic Council in Jerusalem, Sheikh Ikrima Sabri, for alleged involvement in public disturbances on Yom Kippur. On Sunday, residents of east Jerusalem hurled stones and Molotov cocktails at security forces, wounding 22 policemen.
