Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) formally named Rafi Maor as its new
chairman of the board on Monday.

Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon and Finance Minister Yair Lapid both
approved the appointment, after the board of directors voted for Maor
to take up the position earlier this year.

"I am privileged to have been selected as chairman of the board of
directors of IAI, Israel's largest aerospace company. Knowing IAI’s
strengths, its employees and management, I am convinced that together
we can successfully take on the challenges ahead by using IAI's unique
originality and innovation and wide array of activities," Maor said.

Maor was previously Chairman of ECI Telecom.
