The Israel Electric Corporation deployed four diesel-powered generators to communities over the Green Line on Sunday that could face blackouts if a snowstorm was to hit and damage infrastructure in the area.

The generators were delivered to the regional councils of Gush Etzion, southern Hebron, Kiryat Arba and Tekoa. A mobile power station, delivered Saturday night, was also connected Sunday morning as another measure to back up the area's main power station and ensure that residents will have a regular source of electricity.
