The Israeli Public Security Ministry reported Thursday that 433 new license requests for guns and other handheld weapons have been submitted since Minister Gilad Erdan's reform. Public Security Minister Erdan announced new criteria Monday making hundreds of thousands of IDF infantry unit veterans eligible to receive firearms licenses.
