National Security Advisor and head of the National Security Council Meir Ben-Shabbat met today in Moscow with the head of the Russian Security Council, Nikolai Petrushev, and representatives of the defense establishment and senior officers.

The meeting discussed regional issues in the Middle East and the situation in Syria.

National Security Advisor Ben-Shabbat emphasized at the meeting that Israel insisted that the Iranian forces must leave all of Syria.
