Israel has appealed to Jordan to reconsider the cancelation of annexes from the 1994 peace treaty between the two countries, relating to two border territories: Naharayim (Baqura) near the Kinneret and part of Zofar (al Ghamar) in the Arava, a senior government source told Army Radio. Israel realizes that such a reversal is nearly impossible, Army Radio reported, but are nevertheless trying to restart negotiations
