The Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) confirmed on Thursday that the explosion which left 20 people injured on a bus in southern Jerusalem on Monday was the result of a suicide bombing by the Islamist group Hamas.

The Shin Bet said on Thursday that the lone fatality from the blast – who died of his wounds at Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem on Wednesday – was the bomber, Abdel-Hamid Abu Srour.
