Israel ended its World Cup qualifier versus Azerbaijan's national team in a 1:1 tie at the National Stadium in Ramat Gan on Saturday.Israel fell behind on a goal in the 61st minute by Azerbaijan's Rahid Amirguliyev. Itay Shechter equalized in the 73rd minute, but Israel could not muster an additional goal to earn a much needed home win.Israel will next hit the road to face Russia on Tuesday.
