A senior state official on Sunday told Israel Radio that diplomats are looking for a new building to
house the Israeli embassy in Cairo which was subject to an Egyptian mob
siege on Friday night.
The official stressed the need to check if it was justified to leave the six security
guards over the weekend who were tasked with protecting the Israeli
embassy in Cairo, even though there was a warning issued that there
would be attempts to break into the compound, Israel Radio reported.
