Israel was slated to begin the release of 26 Palestinian security prisoners from jail at 9 p.m. on Tuesday as a gesture to the Palestinian Authority for resuming direct peace talks, Channel 10 reported.The prisoners were expected to cross two checkpoints before arriving in Gaza and the West Bank a little after midnight.
