Israel will expand the Gaza fishing zone to 15 nautical miles on Sunday morning, COGAT announced on Saturday night.

The fishing zone had been limited to 10 nautical miles on Wednesday after 11 fires were lit by incendiary balloons in southern Israel.

Over the weekend, a further series of fires were lit by incendiary balloons from Gaza. In total, 1,023 fires swept the country, caused both by incendiary balloons and other causes.
