Israel warns of terror concerns in Tunisia ahead of Lag Ba'Omer

Israel has increased the level of warning on travel to and from Tunisia in light of terrorist threats ahead of the upcoming Jewish holiday of Lag Ba'Omer, the Prime Minister's Office announced Wednesday.
Due to assessments by the government's Counter-Terrorism Bureau, Israel urged all of its citizens to avoid travel to the North African nation, and advised all nationals currently in the country to immediately return to Israel.
"Terrorists, operating for global jihad networks, continue to operate to conduct terrorist attacks against a range of targets in Tunisia," read the PMO statement. "In this light, and ahead of public celebrations for the holiday of Lag Ba'Omer expected to take place on the [Tunisian] island of Djerba (on May 14-15), there is concern over terrorist attacks against targets including Jews."
