Israeli Yellow Vests: We must remind parties of the hole in our pocket

Israeli Yellow Vests activists, inspired by French protesters to demand a decrease in living costs, said on Monday that "this is our time as citizens to decide what's important and what the elections will be about."

"[Political] parties will try and speak about other issues, we must remind them that we have a hole in our pocket...it is simply expensive [to live] here."

"We're telling all parties," the statement read, "if you won't focus on the cost of living...you will see yellow vests in any election event you will do."
