Israeli security forces arrested three Palestinians on suspicion of weapons trafficking after Border Police confiscated an M-16 assault rifle in their possession in the West Bank on Saturday.
In light of intelligence information provided by the IDF, Border Police officer detained the three suspects in their 20s near Tapuah Junction. During searches of the vehicle, Israeli forces located the semi-automatic weapon dissembled in pieces and hidden throughout the car.
The suspects, all residents of Ramallah and Nablus, were transferred to security forces for further investigation.
