Israeli police shut down a nature party that had been operating without a permit near Beit Shemesh, the police reported on Sunday.

Illegal parties "could pose immediate and real danger to the participants because of the great difficulty of the rescue forces in reaching and acting in case of need," the police stated.

The police dispersed those involved in the party at the moshav Ksalon, seized the amplification equipment and arrested those suspected of selling the alcohol, organizing the party and owning the equipment.

These parties often result in excessive alcohol consumption by minors, which could result in death, the police claimed.
