Daniel Taub, Israel's envoy to London, will be leaving his post after four years and returning to Israel this summer, the embassy announced last week.
No successor has yet been named for the prestigious diplomatic posting, but one name being considered as a possible replacement is former minister Limor Livnat.
Though Taub, a lawyer and former senior legal advisor in the foreign ministry, has been in contact with the the Prime Minister's Office about heading efforts there to combat Palestinian “lawfare” against Israel, nothing has yet been finalized.
