The Italian chief of staff General Claudio Graziano landed in Israel on Sunday night for a visit as the guest of his Israeli counterpart Lt.-Gen. Gadi Eisenkot, the IDF announced on Monday.

During his visit, Graziano will hold meetings with Eisenkot, as well as other senior IDF officers, and Israeli intelligence agencies.

Graziano was received on Monday by a military guard of honor at IDF headquarters at the Kirya in Tel Aviv.
