Jerusalem legal adviser quits after feuding with Barkat

Yossi Havilio, the legal adviser to the Jerusalem municipality resigned on Tuesday after reportedly being pressured by Mayor Nir Barkat.

The two had reportedly argued about evacuating a Jewish home in Silwan, and Barkat sought advice from external legal sources, leading to Havilio's resignation.

Havilio had been legal adviser to the municipality for ten years.
