Jerusalem school strike averted, Prime Minister's Office says

A strike that was planned by school administrators in Jerusalem for Monday has been canceled after an agreement was reached between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon, and Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat, the Prime Minister's Office announced hours ago.

According to the terms of the deal, security guards will be placed at Jerusalem schools during all hours of instruction.
