Jewish, PLO politician dies in Paris at age 70

Jewish-Palestinian journalist, politician and Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) member, Ilan Halevi, died Wednesday in Paris at the age of 70, Palestinian news agency WAFA reported.
Halevi, who described himself as "one-hundred-percent Jewish and one-hundred-percent Palestinian" was the descendant of a Jewish family from Lyon, France, and joined the Palestinian resistance movement and Fatah after the Six Day War. 
He served in the Palestinian Authority's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and represented Fatah on various international forums.
