Disaster was narrowly averted on Sunday morning when the back window of an Egged bus shattered open while the vehicle was driving down Moshe Dayan Road in Jerusalem's Pisgat Ze'ev neighborhood, and a passenger went flying out onto the road.

Magen David Adom paramedics who raced to the scene were stunned to find the passenger – a young man who works as a security guard and who was on his way to work – dazed but only lightly injured after taking the fall.
The man was taken to the hospital with minor injuries and later released.
