AMMAN - Jordan will intensify its efforts with an international coalition fighting Islamic State, a spokesman for the government said on Wednesday, a day after militants released a video purporting to show a captured Jordanian pilot being burnt alive.

He added that King Abdullah headed a meeting with top security officials on Wednesday.
