Judge orders custody extension of girl who is suspected to have murdered her twin

Prosecutors on Sunday issued a pre-indictment motion against a Tel Aviv teen suspected of murdering her twin sister in their apartment building in the city last month.
Judge Poznanski-Ktz of the Tel Aviv Magistrate’s Court ordered Shiri Sobol kept in custody for a further four days, as prosecutors and police prepare the indictment against her for the murder of her sister Hili.
Hili was stabbed repeatedly outside the Sobol family’s apartment in a Tel Aviv residential building on February 18th, and Shiri herself called police to report that an unknown assailant had fled the scene after stabbing her sister. Police who arrived at the scene quickly found holes in the story and arrested Shiri and her boyfriend David Eran, who was at family apartment at the time.

Police believe that Eran was the one to stab Hili, and that his blood was found on knives at the crime scene.
Eran will appear at a remand extension on Monday.
Both suspects have denied the charges against them.
