Moshe Kahlon, chairman of Kulanu, announced at the conclusion of his Tuesday night speech to party activists that he would recommend Benjamin Netanyahu as Prime Minister, Walla news reported.

The incumbent prime minister needs a majority of Members of Knesset to recommend him in order to form a coalition government. Kahlon previously served as Minister of Communications and Minister of Welfare & Social Services with Netanyahu's Likud before breaking off to form his own party.
