Kerry meets with Jordanian King Abdullah to discuss Mideast peace

US Secretary of State John Kerry met with Jordan's King Abdullah II in Amman on Sunday to discuss Middle East peace, according to official Jordanian news agency Petra.
Kerry brief King Abdullah on his latest talks with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas over the weekend, and thanked the King for his efforts to help advance the peace process.
King Abdullah assured Kerry that Jordan will continue supporting the Israeli-Palestinian peace process "based on the international legitimacy resolutions, the two-state solution and the Arab peace initiative in coordination with all stakeholders."
He also stressed Jordan will protest its top interests, particularly those relating to final status issues.
