US reality TV star Kim Kardashian West was held up at gunpoint on Sunday night at a hotel in Paris, where she is attending Fashion Week, according to a CNN report.

The 35-year-old media personality escaped uninjured from the incident. The identities of the perpetrators were not initially known.

"Kim Kardashian West was held up at gunpoint inside her Paris hotel room this evening, by two armed masked men dressed as police officers. She is badly shaken but physically unharmed," her spokesperson told CNN.

Meanwhile, her husband, rapper Kanye West, abruptly ended a performance in New York citing a family emergency.
