Knesset votes to add women to panel picking rabbinic judges

The Knesset approved for first reading a bill proposal to secure at least four spots for women in the Rabbinical Courts Appointments Committee, Israel Radio reported on Tuesday.

According to the proposal, the number of members on the committee will also be increased from 10 to 11.
