Kochavi: IDF will continue to strike forcefully, as many times as needed

IDF Chief of Staff Aviv Kochavi related to the latest confrontation with Gaza on Monday.
"The terrorist army operating in the Gaza Strip, hiding among its own citizens, saw the strength of the IDF which destroyed hundreds of terrorist targets, including headquarters, weapons depots, infrastructures, and ostensibly civilian buildings that became terrorized," Kochavi claimed.
Kochavi claimed that the IDF will continue to strike forcefully, as many times as needed, wherever it is needed.
"Israel's history is not glorified through the gates of victory and glorious boulevards, but through the story of the lives of its heroes and through their tombstones - those who gave us the right to live here, in the land of our forefathers," Kochavi added. "As a symbol for that, IDF soldiers along with members of youth movements will lay the Israeli flag on each of the soldiers' graves. This is the flag to which every soldier in the IDF swears, this is the flag that IDF soldiers and commanders salute to, and this is the flag that in its name we sent the fallen who did not return."
