The Labor party headquarters received a report on Tuesday that Shas activists in Modi'in burned a Labor banner featuring a picture of the party leader Shelly Yacimovich, and clashed with activists at the scene.

An activist who tried to extinguish the fire was burned. Police were called to the scene and they detained the Shas activists, the Labor party said.
