Landau voices support for Open Skies Agreement

Tourism Minister Dr. Uzi Landau (Yisrael Beytenu) voiced his support on Sunday for the cabinet's passing of the Open Skies Agreement with the EU. “The cabinet made the right decision for the citizens of Israel, for the Israeli economy and the tourism industry in Israel," Landau said.

The Minister predicted there would be a positive impact on the Israeli economy saying, "Within a short space of time, we will begin to see a strong flow of incoming tourism, an increase of revenue for the state coffers and the tourism industry will create many new jobs in cities and the periphery.”
