Voting is not a democratic right but a democratic duty, Yesh Atid party leader Yair Lapid said Tuesday morning after casting a ballot in Ramat Aviv Gimmel.
"The cliche about this being a celebration of democracy turns into a day of sadness if people sit home instead of voting," Lapid said."
Lapid is expected to spend most of the morning campaigning in the north in Haifa, Kiriyat Motzkin, Kiriyat Bialik and Hadera.
