Yesh Atid chairman Yair Lapid has invited English-speaking voters to watch the Super Bowl live with him and other Yesh Atid MKs at a party in Tel Aviv on the night between February 1 and 2.

The free party will take place at the London Ministore on Ibn Gvirol Street.

Registration is required on Yesh Atid’s website.

Lapid has made a serious effort to attract English-speaking voters.

Last month, he spoke to a crowd of more than 1,000 in English at an event organized by the Tel Aviv Salon.

Yesh Atid is believed to be the first political party in Israel to ever host a Super Bowl event. American-born MK Dov Lipman said he came up with the idea after seeing the success of last month’s appearance.

“There is a huge amount of interest in Yesh Atid from the English-speaking community, way beyond what there was in the last election,” Lipman said. “We were looking for a forum where people could ask questions informally to Yair and the MKs and have fun together.

We have real people in our party and it’s important to see us as who we really are.”

A native of Maryland, Lipman is a fan of the Washington Redskins, who did not make the playoffs this season.
