The Ministry of Justice registrar for political parties announced Thursday that Yair Lapid's Yesh Atid party has submitted an official request to be added to the list of political parties competing in the general elections expected to take place this fall.

The announcement names the party's 10 founders, including author and poet Ronny Someck and former Olympic judo champion Yoel Razvozov.
