Yesh Atid Chairman Yair Lapid said to his faction on Monday that the central problem of the state is corrupt and ugly politics.
Lapid also said that he turned down Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's offer to be the foreign minister.
Lapid, who accused politicians of lashing out at each other in public and proceeding to negotiate behind close doors, referred to the recent political storm as having been completely cynical and uninfluenced by values.
