Finance Minister Yair Lapid said on Thursday that he plans to propose a bill to add NIS 60 million to aid given to Holocaust survivors.

In a speech made in a conference of Holocaust survivor organizations, the finance minister also promised to amend the legislation to transfer NIS 600 for food and medicine directly to survivors' bank accounts, instead of providing survivors with a magnetic card that makes it difficult to know how much money is left in it.
