Yesh Atid leader Yair Lapid took to Twitter on Monday to congratulate Itzik Shmuli, the Labor member won 3'd place in the party elections that took place on Monday evening.

"I congratulate my friend Itzik Shmuli for winning Labor elections," Lapid wrote, "I am happy for you."  Users were quick to poke fun at Lapid, who allegedly rules his own party tightly and does not hold party elections.

"When will you hold elections?" one user asked, another wrote to Lapid saying "you're just amazing! By the way, I might have missed the news, who won the elections in your party?"
