Security forces in the West Bank launched a large-scale operation to locate illegal weapons in the village of Yatta, during which they seized weapons, ammunition and other military equipment.

Sixteen wanted persons, suspected of involvement in terrorist activities and violence against civilians and soldiers, were detained. The suspects were taken in for questioning.
