The London-based al-Sharq al-Awsat daily newspaper reported that Lebanese President Michel Aoun asked the United States 'to help increase stability along the border with Israel by drawing permanent borders,' according to a report on Arutz 7. The Thursday report said that Aoun spoke about the subject with US Under Secretary of State David Satterfield.
