Supermodel Penina “Pinchi” Mor, known for her famously long and beautiful legs,
died on Tuesday after a two-year battle with cancer. She was 62. Mor was buried
on Wednesday in the Even Yehuda cemetery.
Mor, who began modeling in the
1970s, became known as “the legs of the state.” She was a top Gottex model,
helping to put the country’s No. 1 swimwear brand on the world map. Later in her
career, she helped produce fashion shows.
