Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman raised his objections on Sunday morning to Israel's absence from the donors conference for the reconstruction of Gaza being held in Cairo later in the day.

The possible funneling of funds to Hamas was Israel's main concern over the funds that will be pledged toward rebuilding damage in the coastal enclave caused during the seven-week war with Israel during the summer, Liberman stated in an interview with Israel Radio on Sunday.
