Balad has morphed into a wing of Hamas, Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman charged on Monday.

The political party "assists Hamas while using the Knesset to promote terror and the parliamentary immunity of its Knesset members," Liberman said in a Facebook post.

He slammed Balad members for traveling to Qatar during Israel's seven-week war in Gaza as well as MK Hanin Zoabi's recent comments likening the IDF to Islamic State terrorists.

The foreign minister vowed to resume Yisrael Beytenu's bid to disqualify the "terrorist party" from running in the next Knesset, adding that "no one can ignore the bold and defying moves of Balad," which he said, explicitly violated the law.

"There is no place in the Knesset for a wing of Hamas."
