A light earthquake, 3.2 on the Richter scale, struck the region near the city of Tiberias in the north of Israel on Monday evening.
Though the earthquake was felt on the ground, no damage was caused to buildings and no casualties were reported.
Israel's north has been shaken by a string of earthquakes in recent days, with experts fearing a "big one" may still yet be due.
