Deputy Health Minister MK Ya’acov Litzman hosted in his office on Tuesday the health minister of the Ivory Coast. Dr. Raymonde Goudou Coffie and that country’s ambassador to Israel, Jean-Baptiste Gomis. The health minister arrived for a “learning tour” of hospitals here. “I am interested in learning from the deputy minister how to develop excellent emergency medicine like Israel’s,” she said.

The two counterparts noted that the West African country and Israel have very good diplomatic ties and cooperation between their health systems. It was agreed to continue and boost cooperation in health and various medical topics, such as exchanges of information, hosting of experts and training of doctors and medical teams in emergency medicine, prevention of infectious diseases and related topics.
