The government of Israel is at a junction, said Justice Minister Tzipi Livni at the Knesset on Monday.

"It must either end the extremism and fight terror and racism, end the belligerent talk and advance what we can agree on when it comes to diplomatic issues," Lvini said at a faction meeting, "or go to elections."

Both options were appropriate, she said, adding, "What is not proper is not going to elections while continuing to advance racist legislation and letting extremists, some of whom are in the coalition, continue to have their way."
