Opposition leader Tzipi Livni met visiting EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana on Monday and said that the only way to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict "is via comprehensive negotiations over all the components of the conflict in a bid to reach a detailed, comprehensive agreement that represents Israel's interests, as we began at Annapolis." Concerning Iran, Livni said that the world "should start preparing much tougher and more dramatic sanctions" against the Islamic republic over its nuclear program.
