Fifteen people, among them six children, suffered light injuries from smoke inhalation due to a fire that spread inside a four-story apartment building in Lod before dawn on Tuesday.

Paramedics at the scene treated the injured before ambulances rushed them to Assaf Harofeh Medical Center in Tzrifin.
