An MDA delegation joined thousands of young Israelis on the annual march through Poland, MDA announced on Thursday.

For years, Magen David Adom has sent volunteers to Poland in the build-up to Holocaust remembrance day, and this year was no different. The delegation visited numerous Holocaust sites throughout Poland including Schindler's factory and the Auschwitz death camp.

One volunteer, Tzlil David, described her experience, "The journey to Poland is impossible to describe in words...the pride I feel, standing on Polish soil while I am wearing the Magen David Adom uniform, the national rescue organization of our state, the state of the Jewish people."

Another volunteer, Elie Metzner, added, "I can't describe the Holocaust easily, but it would be criminal not to try."
